Valve Body info

Im a newbee to lightnings, i was wondering what info could anyone provide for me as to what support or tune mods are required to work with a upgraded valve body? do i need a new tune? or can i just install the v body hardware? truck has 4# lower cold air and diablo box tune electric fan and cat back. Thanks ..

If you have transmission shift improvements done through your tune that will need to be removed from the tune. Other than that no other supporting mods are necessary for a VB shift kit.

Disconnect the battery during install to clear the ECU's adaptive learning and install a new tranny filter. Not necessary but you can also install an aftermarket tranny pan.

cool so its basically just hard wear... Truck has older "chip" so I'm not too sure if it actually has trans upgrades... i don't think it does, all L's were a bit upgraded from svt i believe. But I'm not sure how to tell.
