Vacuum line questions w/pictures

Hey guys i'm a new 04' Cobra owner. I was cleaning the engine today and found what looks to be a plugged vacuum line. Can someone shed light on this? Also, the second picture shows the solenoid area. Does this look ok? Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!!

Not sure what the plugged thing is, but I put it back when I moved all my stuff off the side of the blower. Just relocated it. As for the side of the blower, looks right.

that canister is not required and can be removed or left installed but the configuration in the picture is the correct configuration for stock from factory.

consult this thread should you desire to remove/cleanup some of those vacuum lines.

You can pretty much throw all that garbage on the side of the blower away. Cleaned up mine and this is how it looks. Never had any problems with all of it gone.
