If you like to drive and the geography you can head out to
Death Valley in California. It's about 2-hours one way. Head
south for Hoover Dam. Maybe 45-minutes.

I'm not a gambler(serious), I just love the Vegas atmosphere,
but I really liked driving the open road out there in the middle
of BFE. :)

Definitely checkout Hoover Damn it is quite a sight to see ! Take your picks of things to do there are plenty of clubs in every hotel . I even went bungee jumping out there one time when I went , the bungee tower is right on the strip . Checkout the water fountain show at the Bellagio , Pirate Show at Treasure Island and the Fremont Street Experience ( old Vegas ) . Ride the different roller coasters at New York New York and Sahara . Ride the big shot on top of the Stratosphere everytime I go I ride it at least 4 times !

Hit up the buffets, go to the clubs if you like to drink/dance, shopping, see the shows, take a crapload of pictures, get laid :).

You will see that Las Vegas never sleeps, and it's actually more fun at night than during the day.

If your going soon, i think within the next week, you can meet tons and tons of famous radio broadcasters. Vegas is hosting something that showcases a bunch of new equiptment(or something like that). Oh and I heard the Bellagio is closed right now?

Jay, i just got back from there last week.

Atlantis show at Ceaser's Forum Shops.
Light show on Fremont street (every hour, every night, WELL worth the trip)
Bellagio water show.
Treasure Island Sirens of the Deep show
Mandolay Bay Aquarium
Mirage Dolphin pools, and the white tigers and lions. (Sig and roy not doing shows atm, obviously, but the tigers and lions are still there to see as of last week)
Star Trek stuff at the LV Hilton if you like that sort of thing.

The list just keeps going on. THere is TONS to do if you dont gamble.

Oh, and you can rent a ferrari at one of several places :)

Here's a little tip for ya. When you hit up the buffet in the mornin, get there right at the end of breakfast, that way you pay the cheap breakfast rate, and get all the hot lunch items comin out. That way you'll have a little extra left over to loose at the tables.

Also, if you don't already know how to do so, learn to play craps. It's the most exciting game there is. I usually piss off everyone at the table because half the time I go against the dice.

Besides that, hotel/casino hop, see some shows, enjoy one of their fine "escort services", and put on 30 pounds at the buffets.

You'll have a great time.

Depending on your tastes there are MANY of all of the follwing

Dance Clubs
Strip Clubs
Stand up Comedy Shows
Magic Shows
Rent exotic car ($$$)
hoover Dam
Get married in the drive up window (I advise against this)
Sun at the pool
Visit the bigger Casinos and check out some amazing architecture (SP?)

Free Hotel shows all along the strip at Treasure Island, The Bellagio and if you head downtown check out the Freemont Experience (as mentioned earlier) Cool happenings out there just stay in the casino area Downtown Vegas can be a little 'seedy'

If you are staying at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino all you have to to do be entertained is stay at the pool :D. That alone will keep you amused. (Model type women everywhere and a killer pool)

Bellagio buffet is the bomb. It might be kinda pricey but they have so much good food there. Just eat like 5lbs. of crab legs and you will get your moneys worth. I am going to Vegas again in November for SEMA.:coolman:

I rented a ferrari 355 at the dream car rentals across from the Stardust and drove out to the hoover dam. It was great. I was with a few other auto exec's who all rented cars and we were just flying like a bat out of hell through the desert. Not a cop to be seen. Gave the car back with little to no rubber left. That was 2001. 2003 at sema I ended up putting together the ford both so I didn't have much time but had lotz of free dinner.
Ford even had some pimp at the ford dinner bring in like 20 hot ass girls to work the room. Since I was the youngest and the only person without their wife in the group everyone kept trying to get me this asian hooker which in a drunken stooper had mentioned was really hot. But she was way to expensive. I think I would have rather got the ferrari again anyway. Oh ya the ferrari was completely ragged out with only several thousand miles on it. Everyone whom gets those cars puts the cheapest and worst gas in.
But in any event theirs tons to do, tons of people to do and place to see.
