You just remove the valve from your passenger send coil cover and install the new unit.

Yes it benefits both applications

Mine will be installed tomorrow and will check if oil is caught in the JLT catch can.

I bought one to eliminate the JLT catch can.

HF, That's what I am trying to do as well. I will see how much is caught over the weekend before I pull the catch can.

Update: Drove about 400 miles and barely any oil in the catch can as opposed to about a 1/4 inch deep of used oil. The new PCV works great!

I wouldn't get to excited about this recommendation. I tried it about 9 months ago. The results for me were actually identical to the OEM unit that came on the Boss. I only see about 2 ounces in the cup (JLT) every 3000 miles but then again I don't track my vehicle. Tracking would certainly increase this amount. I would recommend installing a Peterson can for anyone who tracks their Boss or is experiencing higher loss rates then mine.
