So I just ordered a SCT SF3/X3 from AmericanMuscle, and after submitting my info to Bama performance they told me they cant tune my motor because its an 01 bottom end and 03/04 heads, as a result I am going to need a custom tune...I assume, am I correct in this assumption or are the canned tunes going to run on this motor.
If not, I have a few options for a tune around here that are reputable shops. What is the best course of action for me, as I'm running the stock ECU with the aluminator and I just feel like that cant be safe.

A custom tune for your combo is always the best way to go. That's not really that odd of a combo. I'd just hit up one of your local tuners that's well known and trusted.

FASTLANE... i highly recommend them. And I had the same setup N/A before i put the procharger on and took it to fastlane, and its not really an 01 bottom end but it is and 01 front timing cover and that jazz.
