Hello I am in the market for a 2011 shelby gt500. I have found a used one with 4500 miles with the svt performance package and navigaton that I can purchase for 42,000. Is this a good deal or is this generally common wth the mileage listed? I know the 2010s have greatly depreciated due to 2011 improvements however I didn't know how the used market was for the 2011 shelby gt500. Any purchase advise would be helpful from those that have recently bought new or gently used 2011 shelbys.

These cars are not selling, you can easily pick up a 2-3k miles 2010 Shelby in the low to mid 40's and I have seen 2011 from mid 40's to high 40's.

I would say its a pretty good deal right now.

You did not answer my last question?

I know what window stickers are for new gt500s. There is one brand new in maryland discounted to 49k believe me i know what i'm talking about. i've owned 13 mustangs thus far with the last one being a 07 shelby gt500 i sold back in May of last year.

Still doesn't answer the depreciation and current used market for 2011s

Window sticker, or add?

11 gt500 w/ nav and svt pack:
msrp 55830
invoice 50376
Edit: add in recaro seats, glass roof, and mach 1000 msrp now becomes 60715 for a fully optioned one. Maybe the dealers in Maryland are selling these gt500 11k below msrp?

Really a dealer/s are selling them for 1k below invoice and advertising them?

Most are selling for msrp. Some are selling for less. Yes you should be able to find one for 1k over invoice but those dealers are few and far between! This is still 2k more than what you say your gt500 is being discounted to!

Where is the used 11 gt500 svtpack for 42k? The cheapest one I found was 45k

Yeah with the Electronice Package also is a great deal. Might be one with the 1-2 shift and they want to unload it. Could be a great deal. Would ask for the test drive and see if it grinds. If it does would offer 40K and smile all the way home with a new shelby

I just bought a 2011 GT500 last night, couldnt be happier . with that having been said, I researched the daylights out of my local market, here's what I found...

only 1 local dealer had a brand new 11 GT500, and they wanted full msrp. No local dealers could get one, and most dealers will not trade their GT500 if they have one. I found 4 used 11's within 300 miles, and they were all around 44,500-46,500.

If you see another 11 GT500 for anything under 45k, then you need to snatch it up. The market for low mileage 2010's seems to be low 40's, and maybe high 30's if you find a steal.

Wow... if I had the cash, then I should have picked up the 10k mile 11' PP that I saw listed for 42k at a dealer! Probably could have bought it for 40k!
