USB Port

Just curious if anyone has installed a USB port anywhere that looks factory and how you did it? Thinking about putting the Alpine iLX-107 but would like to have the USB/Aux input located somewhere that looks factory.

The most factory looking locations will be down by the cig lighter on the shifter bezel or inside the center console by the 12v plug.

I routed mine from the back of the head unit, to under the console, and up through the arm rest. So have the cord plugged into my phone which sits in the cup holder.

Oh man, that R was sold awhile ago! It's in Texas now! Probably the only car I ever regret selling.

But I'm trying to purchase a 2003 Cobra and was just looking at making it iPhone friendly

I used the rear USB port from my head unit and wired it to the glove box. Otherwise a very low profile cig lighter USB adapter is what I use. Bad thing about the cig lighter is that it's always on though.

I ended up putting the port right next to my iPhone holder on the dash bezel.
