Haven't updated this in a long time... been slow going getting things modified here and there.

A little more work done tonight. Got the passenger side head back (driver side head is almost complete by my buddy has been busy.... no biggie, he is doing all the work for free [i'll be paying him cash, but he doesn't know yet as I'm going to surprise him])

After getting the head on, and the manifold bolted up, it was time to bust out the turbo... it has been hiding in a box for most of its current life and i'm sure it was happy to get out a little. After setting it up there I was able to mark what all will have to be cut out (hopefully doing this tomorrow after work) and it will be time to really start making some progress. I had to step back and take a couple pics...

You can see it needs to be re-clocked on the compressor side, but I don't think this should be any big deal.

I did put up the down pipe on it, and everything will fit perfectly once it is cut in the fender. Even got some spots lined up for brackets to help support the turbo/manifold to prevent future cracks.

When you see it.... but this is all the stuff that is going bye bye on the inner fender.

I had to do some work to get these manifolds to fit. I bought them from a guy that was running RHS 200 heads, which have a 3" exhaust bolt spacing. I have stock ported 170 twisted wedge heads.... I plan on building a new motor (dart block 331") later this year with AFR 205 heads...

Popped dem springs/valves out and cleaned the head surface. Marking for new exhaust bolts.

We only had one time to get one of my heads redrilled and tapped... hopefully have my other one later this week so I can get the crossover bolted up and re run most of my wires/fuel lines.

Got the phone call from my buddy over @ SAMracing.com and he had the driver side head done. When I got home about an hour ago I slapped it on the car + the manifold.

SURPRISINGLY(because nothing ever goes smoothly) the crossover pipe was a perfect fit!! Just need to weld a cap onto the existing w.g. location as it will no longer be on the crossover.

I was going to put the intake on, but a good friend of mine needs some help moving furniture. So off to help him and enjoy some beers.

progress!!!! :)

More baby steps:

All the piping UP and on the car, but we'll have to make some minor changes to the pipe coming into the compressor housing as it needs a vband, and slight angle adjustment. Also, the turbo kit was on a car that was running a victor jr. and wilson intake elbow + 105mm tb. Alas, I'll be running that on the new motor, but not now. I'll have a new intake pipe made up when I get the new waste gate location installed.

I can still make a little more room, and clock the compressor housing a touch more to lessen the approach angle. Again, this pipe was going to get modified for a vband anyways, so this isn't a real issue.

I just got done ripping most of the old fuel lines out so, a few more things off the check list.

Looking good.

Thanks dudes! Really can't wait to get this thing done. So much stuff left to do.

Ok, welp, since the previous turbo kit owner sent me a plethora of extra tubes from his many stages of his kit, I decided to try some other combos that will work for this intake. I don't want to bother the other pipe for the victor jr. up as I will be running an identical intake setup.

Alas, too close for comfort to run the stock alternator bracket methinks, but this is one little bend away from being "complete"

Like mentioned, I think this is too close, even if I wrapped the manifolds (which are ceramic coated currently as well, which will be re done after the W.G. installation).

Another shot of the future W.G. location, checking the height clearance. Will also clear the Victor jr. setup as well, methinks.

Very happy with the progress this weekend.
