ups truck strikes again

got this stuff for my eingine buildup last week, thought Mark (my ups guy........my wife makes fun of me because we know each other by first name hes here so much) was gonna freak with all the boxes

i bought heads and cam kit from gefracing.com they were at my door in 2 days great fast service
heres fr500 heads and high lift cam kit

heres the intake ports before i get them ported,theheads are going out for porting this week

hahaha.. amazing how us car guys know the ups guys by name... gonna be a nice setup when you get it all installed.

shortblock on its way back from modular performance this week heres what i had done to it

Aluminum Big Bore for NA
Customer Al block
Customer Cobra crank
Diamond Modular, custom for 3.700" - 10.5 to 1 compression
Diamond Ring kit, custom for 3.700"
Manly Pro Series "I" Beam Rods w/ ARP2000
F/M 149 Main
F/M 7250 Rod
Rear Seal
billet oil pump gears
Degrease
Remove sleeves and insert MP sleeves
Install ARP man studs
Deck and hone for Diamond pistons
Line bore
Wash
Pin fit pistons and rods
Assemble short block

The only thing that you will need to really attend to after the buildup, to maximize your hp and torque, is to up your 80mm MAF (stock?) to a 90mm+ and bump your fuel delivery system.

rgr that a 90 mm lightening unit is enroute,just hasnt come yet plus alot of stuff i got coming in from different vendors

Definitely gonna be a killer! Just out of curiousity what's the diffrence between ported FR500 heads and ported stock '01 heads w/ the FR500 cams?

A pair of ported 01 heads would flow about the same as a pair of non-ported Fr500 heads.
