Upr x-pipe

Just bought the upr-x o/r to go with my mac cat back. Does anyone know where the little sleeve that comes with the kit is supposed to be installed?

In the drivers side header flange. The header is 2 1/4 and the pipe is 2.5" the insert adapts the two together. It is a good idea to go ahead and put some orange silicone rtv between the insert and the x-pipe. Let it cure before you start the car.
