I will be installing one of these for a friend so which fits better, sounds better, is overall better? The car is stock other than a flowmaster catback.

If your friend have flowmaster catback. I would not recommend x-pipe, x-pipe will sound too raspy with flows. From my experience chambered mufflers match better with H-pipe and straight through sound better with x-pipe. I use to have upr off road x-pipe on my cabra. I really liked the craftsmanship. It was a quality piece and sounded good with my fr500 cb. hope this helps.

I would go UPR
