An X-pipe is louder and has more rasp, an H-pipe has more tone and 'muscle car' rumble. Neither provide a power advantage over the other, at least not that you'd ever notice.

The second one sounds like a baseball card against bike spokes. If you're gonna run the catback you already have why is an x pipe a huge deciding factor if it has no cats it's gonna be loud.
