I have a 2014 GT500 with a Moser M9 rear. When driving around, if I hit a relatively large bump, there will be a quick, sharp squeak sound from the rear of the car. I was poking around underneath today looking for the cause, and noticed that the upper spring isolator on the passenger side rear is crooked; perhaps rubbing on the spring under a hard compression. The other side is straight. Is this a problem?

It's possible that the rubber isolator is worn and causing the spring to awkwardly position itself on the isolator. Premature wear could be a problem along with more troublesome NVH issues down the line.

Update to this for anyone searching. I re seated the springs and the isolators seem to be fine now. I think it was just bumped out of place during the original install.
