Opposite, Never use drilled/slotted on a open track car unless you by a $2500-4000 Stoptech/baer/brembo set up.
The slotted/drilled you see every where for $250 and under are for Bling factor on a street driven car.
They will not provide any real performance factor that the average driver can feel.
If you DD your car and want them you should be fine.
Our stock brake set up is pretty damm good for open tracking after SS lines.
