Upgrade my license plates or leave the same?

A couple years ago NY came out with new plates and they have made them an option. If you get a new car then you have to take these plates but if you already have the older plates you can keep them.

I just got the renewal form in the mail for the Cobra so trying to decide whether to stay with the old plates or go with the new yellow ones.

Help me decide.

Stay witht he old ones. I see so many of the new ones on the NJ roads that I can't think about how much of an eyesore they really are. Very ugly.

That's pretty good. It's a shame that you guys only get 6 letters. Some states get 8.

I think we can do 7 or 8 as well. The state symbol isn't required.
