unplugging boost dump solenoid?

i was reading the post in the mods and people say that you can just simply unplug the boost dump solenoid instead of doing the whole boost bypass thing for the same effect. how are you actually unplugging it though. are you just taking off that vacuum hose on the top and plugging it??? please help.

Search the forum. This has been discussed. I think if you do that, you'll leave the charger in an "always-on" state which could shorten it's life if I remember right.
