Any benefit to upgrading from my xcal 2 to one of these? I'll be getting a new tune in a few weeks.

Slow, no these units don't do active monitoring like a Livewire does.

Jarry, long as your x2 still works, I would just keep using it. The tune itself is how well the car runs, the tuner is just the method of how you upload the tune. X2 only supports tunes up til about 08 if I recall so won't work on later model stuff but should be fine on prior years
