undisclosed accident on car i bought from a dealer *help*

i bought a used car (program car, they called it) in oct 04 and tonight i went to trade it in and a i was informed that in may 04 it was involved in a accident that was never disclosed to me when i bought it. Of course the dealer is low balling my trade by several thousand (5-6k) , stating the prior accident as the reason. and i know that dealers play the "game" and low ball every ones trade but do i have any recourse from the dealer i originaly got the car from? I know I bought the car used but they had 10 "program cars" similar to mine and i would have picked one of the others if the accident had been disclosed. any one ever have a similar situation?

It's possible they didnt know, but good luck getting any resolution. Take your trade back to the dealer, tell them what you will take for it. Tell them, if they want to sell a car, they will take it. If not, go elsewhere
