HEy, is the borg warner s400 tooo big. Will this thing take forever to spool?
Turbo size.. is this a good size or tooo big

What is it going on? Assuming a 4v 4.6, yes it will take a bit to get going. The S400 is a T6 large frame turbo, and they do have many different versions of the 400. More info would help.
yeah it is goin on a 4v and it has like a 1.30 hot side
That is a huge a/r on the hotside. My 76mm has a .96a/r and it doesnt see full boost until about 4000rpm
I just found another borg warner that has these specs:: C/C A/r .60 M/M OD/IND 75/55 and T/hA/r 1.32.....
So.. what your saying is anything bigger thn a .96 on the hotside is tooo big and will make the spool time longer???

The specs that I just listed are for a T04E turbo. . Let me know what you guys think.. From what I gathered on the internet, I think this turbo will support like 500ish I think, But i dont know about the hot side being 1.32.. let me know what you guys think... cause im alil in the dark when it comes to turbos :nonono:
