In my home stretch on this FMIC and trying to decide on keeping my anderson power pipe or running some sort of turbo guard screen. Any advantages to either. Like the not so gobbled look of the screen and leaves allot more room in the engine bay. Those of you running screens ever have any issues with impeller damage?

I would use the PowerPipe. Get the largest filter that will fit inside the fenderwell. This will provide clean, ambient air, and , I believe, better air flow.

A screen will pass heated, dirty air straight into the blower. Without a section of pipe on the inlet, you might have reduced airflow due to turbulence. This is why you see race cars with a bell shaped inlet. Some air filters feature this type of design.

If you are planning on driving it around on the street, youbdef want to go with a standard air filter. As mentioned above you don't want that hot air anyway.
