tuning and high flow cats

i oredered magnaflow high flow catted x pipe. my q? is is the steeda sct tune okay for now or will it hurt anything

Ok a few things...

Ford spraying gas to cool the cats has been around since the 98 cobras... Probably even before that. Most tuners turn this off, I'm 99% sure SCT already has this disabled

Also, with no tuner you may have a CEL show up for "no cats." But that would be the only downside.

I installed my entire full exhaust, with the basic SCT reflash with no problems other than the CEL

you are correct but i believe the OP was setting his ducks in a row before installing... so i would say that a tune is necessary
