Will 17 degrees of timing be unsafe on a street tune. I know someone running 18 degrees on the street? What would be something to look for? pinging? spark knock? detonation? Is 17 degrees ok as long as the air to fuel is round 11.8
thats a tad high I feel about 14 is good for street and 18 for race on high octane. If your dead set on running that much timing you could go with a richer tune ( like low 11s ) to try to keep it more safe. But bottom line is thats a lot of timing to run on the street .
