Tune questions

So I'm installing get a off road x pipe on my 2011 mustang gt do I need a tune also. I plan on getting a tune later

No, however it's a good idea to get tuned for it. You can drive with an off-road mid pipe, but you'll get worse fuel mileage. The PCM will read that the cats are "inefficient" and extra fuel will be dumped into the exhaust to cool them. Since they'd be removed, you'll constantly have fuel going into your exhaust. You'll also throw a CEL, but that's no big deal.

i would get the tune first .make sure the tune loads then install pipe.it will run worse if u install pipe first so your not gaining anything.

this, Definitely do the tune with the X pipe, no CEL and you will notice the gains
