This is a pretty important topic these days, and something we spend a lot of time on so our customers can operate legally. There are a myriad of things in the tune that can cause a vehicle to fail emissions. Over the past 10 years we've made it a policy of not altering any of those items. We're happy to review older tunes and make sure everything is correct so the car has the best possible chance at setting the monitors. Even when tuned properly in an emissions legal way you still have to contend with the car and its emissions systems operating properly. Now that we're talking about the oldest GT500s being built 14 years ago, and the newest ones 6-7 years ago, there is a lot that can go wrong. The biggest issue we see is EVAP systems not setting. Fuel level in the tank is the biggest one, but sometimes it takes the perfect set of conditions for all monitors to complete. The EVAP systems are also very sensitive to leaks. Catalytic converters that are worn out is also another item that can cause you to not set a readiness monitor. I could go on and on about emissions systems durability...since it is something we actively test and monitor during our supercharger and calibration development process. We do expect to begin offering EO kits 1st and 2nd quarter of 2021. Even the new 3.1L TVS has been tested and passes emissions in our complete 950HP kit.
