Tune question

I have a custom tune awaiting upload. The tune has provisions for a 170 degree thermostat that I don't have installed yet. Would it be safe to run the tune in the car with the stock thermostat?

Should be OK, fan will kick on sooner than before.

I believe that's all that's changed in the tune, could be wrong though.
