Trying to find my old terminator…

Wasn’t sure what thread to post this is in so forgive me if incorrect thread. I haven’t been on this site in many many years since I sold my 03 Kennebell terminator. Long story short, I sold my 03 Cobra to a guy in North Carolina many years ago. I no longer have any of his contact info etc. All the “vin searches” online are dead ends. Does anyone know how to track down current owner with a vin number? Granted the car isn’t trashed Im in a position to buy another cobra and would love my old car back, granted current owner let it go. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What color was it? I thought my buddy grabbed his Dark Shadow KB car out of NC many years back. It had a mammoth 2.8 on it.

I attached some pics. Black 03 with a 2.4 Kennebell and all the supporting mods ie: longtubes, suspension, built trans etc. The guy that bought it from me called me just after buying it to ask a question and said he put 04 chrome cobra wheels on it.
