If you have a scanner, take a fairly new $5, $10, or $20 bill and put in your scanner, and scan the image. then try to print it off. the result will be an image of half the dollar bill with the website http://www.rulesforuse.org printed directly below the image.

the scanners after a certain date will recognize you're trying to scan and print money off and cut the image off.

pretty cool how they use technology to do that.

how old is your scanner?

my dad's epson stylus cx4200 cut it off on the print out.

my Lexmark X1150 printed it out just fine.

i think after a certain date they were all made with the software that recognizes money and prevents it from printing completely.

I have a HP printer/scanner from 03 and it'll scan anything you want.
