Trufiber 3" Cowl hood FINALLY installed

Hey all,

Just thought I would finally get some pics up since I finally got the hood on and painted lol Hood is made by Trufiber, pins by Quick-Latch, overall VERY happy with the finished product!!!! I'm short (5'7") and can still see over this thing no prob. They advertise it as a 3", but the second step alone measures that much. From top of cowl to plastic trim on windshield is approx. 5".

Yup, while I've been more than happy with the 2.9, I am planning to begin a built motor combo with either a 4.0 or 4.5 around the end of the year. In the meantime though, I'll do more supporting mods to stretch the 2.9, but now at least I won't be worried about lowering the engine, clearances, etc. lol

I agree 110% good sir!!! I am ordering Weld RT-S', 17x4.5 fronts & 15x10 rears here in the next week or so!! lol

Hey Chris actually ran across this on Facebook and shot you a message. How is the fit/finsih of that hood? Did it require a lot of prep and work to get it to fit right?
Do you have to run hood pins?
