Trouble uploading vids

Ok guys...I'm unable to upload vids online, tried YouTube, Photobucket, and Streetfire. The file type when I load the vid on my computer defaults to mov. and only plays in Quicktime...how do I change the file type to one that will be upload friendly? :nonono:

You need to convert it to FLV, any of these programs should work

I tried to download two of those programs and they wouldnt download for me. Is there a particular one that you use?
