I was cruising down the freeway yesterday when all of a sudden I noticed my A/F sitting at 10.0. I was like WTF. I pulled over and checked the guage, restarted the truck and got back on the freeway to head home and it kept doing it. Then the 'Service Engine Soon' light came on.

I pulled the code: P1151 saying 'Manufacturer Control Air Metering'

Now what could this be? Bad connection? MAFia connection? Vacuum lines?

Anybody else have this problem?

*Edit: I just checked online and it says this: " Lack of Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor Switch - Sensor Indicates Lean - Bank No. 2 "

IIRC that is usually a sign of something wrong with your passenger side o2. Either a faulty connection, bad sensor, etc... Stan

Did you ever get anything to datalog with Cody? If so monitor your o2's and see how they are reacting. You can clear that code without harm and and see if it happens again. But yeah I would climb under there and unclip your o2 connections clean them up with some electrical connector cleaner and use dielectric grease liberally when reconnecting them at the least...
