Our new dressing is a water-based polymer that is silicone free, named TC-15SF. It will not adhere properly to any surface still containing silicone residue. Removal is important for this to work properly. We have developed a cleaner, TC-15P, which effectively removes the old silicone dressing prior to applying the new polymer dressing.
Once the new dressing is applied, it dries very fast, cleans up with mild soap and water, and will not spray or wash off. Additional layers can be applied to the surface for higher gloss. It is dry to the touch in less than 2 minutes. Durability can be in excess of several weeks.
