Trip to the 9/11 Museum and Memorial

Got the chance to take a trip to New York to attend my cousin's graduation from West Point USMA, as well as visit NYC again to see the newly opened 9/11 Museum. Walking through the museum was unreal....I was only 13 YO when it happened, but it still gave me chills to see how catastrophe it was...

I highly recommend it. I spent over 2 hours in the museum and still did not look at everything in depth. I heard someone state that of you were to look at everything it would take about 6 hours to go through.

It's mind blowing and saddening all at the same time. It really hit me when I was inside one of the memorium rooms and I heard someone say "I remember when that lady trained me when I first started to work at the WTC..." And just to know that they were spared from that day.

I live about 40 mins from the Freedom Tower site, I need to make my way out there.

The tower is open to the public just yet. I plan to go back once Freedom tower is complete and the observation deck is opened.
