I’m planning on going to an LSU game and would end up spending most of the time in NOLA last week of sep/oct. Anything super interesting or fun I need to do or see. Open to anything, doesn’t have to be party related but I do like my alcohol.

Thanks for any suggestions!

WWII museum is a must. Other than that just walk around the french quarter during the day.
At night stick to the main sections and streets only. Things have changed in the last couple years.

I went for a week last year for my birthday (present from my stripper ex gf). Definitely hit the WW2 museum, aquarium, and do a swamp/gator tour. Hit the Casino and do a cemetery tour as well. Negotiate the price as well. You will learned a lot about the city’s history on one of your guide is worth a shit.

I stayed at the Hyatt Centric in the French Quarter. I’ll try to remember a few of the small places I went for breakfast/lunch that were great.

Being able to get a drink at 6am was ****ing great too. Barry can give you a few local spots to try as he did for me last year. Everyone did not disappoint.

You only really need 1 night on Bourbon street to be honest and I did it the first night. Be wary of the hustlers and scammers though.

Bourbon Street, French Quarter, Beignets IMO were underwhelming for all the hype but still have to get them, WWII musuem for sure, I'm not usually much into museums but it was amazing. A lot of people hype up bourbon street to be scary at night, when I went earlier this year, there were so many people out I don't know why one would be scared. If you are out super late just get an uber back to wherever you are staying and you are solid.
