Tried to torch out LCA bolts - Torque Box compromised?

So my GT500 LCA bushings started to go, which isn't that surprising seeing as I have 71k on the car through 4 NY winters now. I went to replace them with J&M LCAs w/ rotoball bushings, but the OEM bushing sleeves were completely seized to the bolt on the body side, so when I went to turn them, I ended up tearing the bushing all the way around. The nut had already pushed out the other side but, for the life of me, I couldn't pull the bolt through.

I took a MAP torch and heated the head of the bolt a few times and went at it again, the last time for a good 30 seconds, praying that it would heat through and free the bolt, to no avail. All that did was burn off the coating on the torque box. Ended up taking the car to a dealership to have them cut out the LCAs. Got taken for a ride on parts and labor, but that's a different story.

Is there any possibility I have weakened the torque box now?
