I asked a friend of mine recently to let me have a shot at his seriously deprived black Trans Am. I dont think I did bad, he was extremely happy with the results. I didnt use any high end stuff, mainly Megs professional line stuff.
PC 7424 with Megs red yellow and tan pads
Megs DC 2.0 w/ red pad
Megs 205 w/ yellow pad
Megs Ultimate Compound w/ yellow pad
Megs Glaze w/tan pad
Megs Ultimate Wax w/ tan pad
I tried out some commercial 3M polish for dark colors, turned my pad black but didnt notice a substancial difference between it and the glaze. Weather was good for working (low70's and partly cloudy) but not so good for seeing good results. Would like to invest in some GOOD products and pads, but want to hone my skills and get my Cobra back on the road first. This job took me almost 8hrs to complete.
