Tremec T56-Mangrum-from-03-04-cobra-for-sale. Looking for $900 for the unit.

I am having my street driven 600 RWHP Whipple Cobra being rebuilt since I cracked a few piston rings last year. Mostly babied, (like mostly peaceful) 107,000 miles.

I burned Pistons at 107K miles. Engine being rebuilt.

So, so engine and tranny came out & I had the transmission gone thru the transmission as part of the rebuild.

Tranny was fine except popped out of 6th gear on occasion. Unfortunately, I cannot get the following Part from Tremec: T56 6th Gear Needed 1386-087-006. The Transmission was disassembled by In Gear Transmissions | Automotive Repair | Douglas, MA and found otherwise in truly excellent shape, except for the 6th gear damage due to stupidly lugging it around in 6th with +500Ft-lbs of torque on tap. Please see photo’s.

This was a street driven car only and had the original clutch. In any case I figure this transmission may be of use to someone in the community, so feel free to get in touch. It has about $43 in parts before I determined I would rather just replace the tranny with a T56 Magnum. Have all parts and Transmission is disassembled.
