Hello Guys,

Wanted to buy a GT500 but finances wouldnt allow it so i picked up a beautiful Black 2010 GT. Only issue is im waiting for my car cover to arrive and i have a large tree in my front yard that goes into my driveway. So im getting alittle tree sap onto the hood of my new baby.

Can anyboby school me on how or what i can get to remove this from my hood? I plan on getting a nice full wax and detail when the cover gets here( got the Noah from covercraft) but till that gets here looking for something i can buy to remove those spots.

Thanks alot guys.

Man now that i bought the GT hope i dont have to leave the site.......lol:shrug:

Isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol is your best bet. Be sure to wax that area when you are done since the alcohol will take off the wax or sealant that is there. I dampen a microfiber towel with the alcohol and let it sit on the spot for a minute or so. I then lightly wipe back and forth. Do not scrub, simply lightly wipe back forth until the sap is gone.
