I was just wondering what kind of trap speed people have got in the 1/4 mile on their 07-09 gt500 with 2.6 upper pulley, intake, and tune only. Stock weight, stock gears, stock wheels except for drag radials out back. I'm currently doing 120 with outside temps around 75 deg and IAT2 temps 120-135 during the pass. My goal is to get it trapping closer to 130mph. Is it possible to trap in the high 120s low 30s with a 2.6 upper only car? If so, what do I need to do to get it done? Thanks

My best mph with my 07 was 129. 2.6 upper, intake, 3.73's, 1ps d/s, o/r x-pipe. That was in really good air. Average was 124-127.

I wonder how much the 3.73, 1pc driveshaft, and o/r x effect the trap speed? I'm currently on the stock driveshaft, stock 3.31, and stock catted exhaust. Do you have any mph times before those 3 mods?

When I bought the car it already had 3.73, frpp intake, and the procal tune. I was usually in the mid to high teens with those mods alone.

tune/cai/off-road Xpipe/vmp 2.65 I was able to trap 124.7 in 60 degree weather.

tune/cai/pulley expect anywhere from 119-121 the x-pipe really wakes the car up in the mid-high rpm range.

I didnt think an x pipe would help that much, but if thats the case, i will most definitely invest in one. Anyone else notice an increase in top end trap with the addition of an x pipe alone?

o/r x-pipe definitely helps. Car breathes better and like the guy above me said it really wakes the car up. Sounds bad ass as well.
