transmission ticking?

After hunting down what i thought was a lifter tick, seems like the sound is loudest from the transmission. Here is a video of noise, sorry i didnt get under the car as i thought it was a lifter.

The noise only occurs when the engine is hot? If i start it cold it will tick until i start driving and it will go away, then comes back when the engine gets to normal driving temperature. Anyone heard of this? I will dropping the transmission tomorrow to see if the sound goes away. Seems to be coming from the front of the transmission. Keep in mind this is a brand new long block with the only used parts being the lifters. Also has new 26 spline input shaft, spec stage 3+ clutch kit, resurfaced flywheel, new throw out bearing and sleeve.

That's not ur trans...lol. Just because a sound seems to be coming from somewhere, doesn't mean that's the source of the sound.

Head or lifter tick most likely. Get a scope in there and track it down. The naked ear will fool you when looking for sounds. I've had similar experiences to this with mine.

We already did this. Sound is not coming from the heads.

If you push in the clutch, does the sound continue? If so, does it climb with RPM with the clutch in and out? Or only one?
