I don't know a ton when it comes to manual transmissions, but I've been having problems with mine here lately.

First off, when parked and in gear...the car still rolls. Only the emergency brake holds the car in place.

Second, shifting between every gear isn't really smooth...feels like it's alittle grindy. Also, getting it into reverse is a pain in the butt..I have to keep putting it in a different gear and back to reverse to get it to go into gear.

So is this transmission or clutch problems...or both?

t45 transmissions have always been known for being tough going into reverse. sometimes you need to go to first then to reverse. i had mine rebuilt in my gt and it still does it. the grinding is usually worn syncros but the problem could also be a worn clutch. usually if its a worn clutch you will notice the car jump slightly when you put it into a gear because the clutch isnt fully engaged.

sounds like the clutch isnt fully engaging or disengaging.. check clutch cable adjustment, posibly a stretched clutch cable.
