Transmission question....

Ive somehow misplaced my owners manual and i don't have a Haynes or Chiltons book to look this up in. I need to know what the recommended transmission fluid is for our cars, im due for a change and i wanted to know what the manual calls for. I searched but couldn't find an answer to that only what seemed like peoples opinions about what fluid should be used.

Alot of people are using synth Mercon/Dexron ATF, but I stuck with the Mercon/Dexron dino juice as I found it reduces the 'grind' between shifts when the trans is cold.

It says atf. I used Royal Purple Max ATF when I did mine. I really didn't notice too much of a difference, but I havn't had any trans issues to compare with (and I was more worried about feeling a difference in the clutch that was installed at the same time). It takes just about 3.5 quarts, so get 4.
