transmission problems

went to get my oil change and took my car home and parked for about a couple hours.went to the car drive the car and it was hard to change gears.now ,this is a t-56 trans,also i havent change fluid in a year and i have the stock clutch cable.sometime the car won`t even go into gear unless i force it,but it does not grind when it goes into gear.so do i need a new trans or is there something else i can do?i need help with this bad. thank guys

Do you have a firewall adjuster and clutch quadrant? If not I'd get one immediately. If you do then adjust it. Check the fluid to and make sure the correct amount is in there.

i need one, on a side not, i put royal purple atf in my tranny and now my shifter never gets hot like it used to with the old atf i used

i`ll try that also,i just don`t to have to buy another tranny.this is a t-56 it suppose to be tough.
