I swapped in a Honda Vtec motor and it was too much for it.
Actually I bought it like this, I don't 100% know the story behind it other than everything looks great minus some scarring on the case and a blown up input shaft and counter shaft cluster. I've actually got the replacements in hand already so it'll go back together as soon as I can muster some time.
A friend of mine way back let his t5 run dry and had some problems. The car could go up through the gears but would get stuck in 3rd or 4th. The only way out was to shut the car off. When I opened the case it looked like yours inside. Hanlon rebuilt it and it was fine. Didn't cost that much either.
