Trying to get clarification on the Super Stang tech requirements. I ran this weekend @ Atlanta Dragway and broke my second gear. The question is whether to replace with a stock MT82 or Magnum XL. Obviously I would prefer the Tremec, but the rules state I need an OEM specific transmission. I have yet to recieve a response from the NMRA and need clarification of what "OEM specific" means. Is it literal or can it be interpreted as OEM style/type. Any incite would be greatly appreciated. Need to get ready for Maryland next month.

Just to close the thread, finally got a call back from the NMRA after they researched the rules. Apparently you are able to use the Tremec. Not clear in the rules but they are going to re-word to clarify. So excited to never have to worry about my 1-2 2-3 shifts EVER AGAIN!!!
