I test drove an SVT that I'm looking to buy. My primary concern is that when getting back into the gas after shifting there was a knock coming from under the car. It was a single knock that sounded like it was coming from the trans tunnel (almost like someone was hitting the underside of the car with their knuckles). So far I was told that it could be the clutch or possibly the entire trans. I had a similar knock in my grand am that eventually went away (so did 5th gear about 15l later). Has anyone experienced a similar issue?
