My 95 Contour grinds a bit going into third...Is this normal amoung the contours and is it the tranny itself or is it the clutch?

what about if someting popped and the car won't move at all? Clutch or Tranny? won't move in any gear clutch was never slipping shifter goes into all positions normally with still a little bit of grind from 3rd
actually i went to sell the car today and when it was being checked out i noticed the wheel on a slight angle and pushed back a bit....when the steering wheel was moved the ball joint popped out (i just got the car about 3 weeks ago and its been too cold for me to really check out) so i decided to put the ball joint back into place when i noticed the axle was way out of place...I got it back into place and what do you know?? My clutch is still good. So now i just have bad syncros. What has to be done to fix that? and roughly how much?
