Hey guys, so I have a problem with my tranny and I wanted to find out what you all thought it might be.
Symptoms are as follows:
When I'm going from a dead stop my truck will go from 1st to 2nd fine and then from 2nd to 3rd it slips and will free rev it will then proceed to move to 4th and get stuck there.
When I come to a stop and the truck is in D with overdrive on it seems to be locked in 4th gear.
When I take overdrive off it will shift just fine from 1st to 3rd without a problem.
Once I'm moving if I'm in 3rd gear and I press the overdrive button to turn it on it will go into 4th but once I come to a stop again it will no longer downshift unless I manually downshift it or turn off overdrive once again.
I hope you guys understand what I'm trying to say... Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
