SO I am installing my new clutch this weekend and am wondering what type of fluid to put in my tranny?

tremec recomends a syncromesh type fluid, so either GM syncromesh or royal purple syncromax.
Tremec Recommends GM synchromesh for the 3550/tko so synchromesh it gets :-D

Royal Purple synchromax. It's made for manual cars that require ATF (T45, T56, T3650). It made my T56 a very slick sgifter, just slides into gear now. Get it here for a good deal www.karlracing.com. Or you can buy it from him off ebay, 6 quarts $45 shipped.
how much do the trannys take?
I just put some gm synchromesh in my T-5, smooth as butter. Used to whine a bit in third gear, doesnt any more.
