Hello everyone, it’s been a while since I’ve been on this site. I have a 2004 SVT Cobra in immaculate condition. The car only has 22k miles on it. I have a Borla Cat Back, Bassani X-Pipe, MM Camber Caster plates, Eibach Lowering suspension (1-inch), and a KN CAI.

For a 2020 GT500, 3051 miles, completely stock @ 89k.

The dealer is only offering 27k for the SVT.

Question, should I keep the SVT Cobra as a collectible? It’s a classic next year. The GT500 is a hell of a car but I’m considering keeping the Cobra and dealing with a hefty note that I cannot do right now (can do next summer).

I’m also hearing rumors that the SVT Cobra will return for 2025. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Some states give you a tax credit and I think you have leverage with owning an appreciating asset (‘03-04) vs a depreciating (‘20-22). Unless you’re looking at a CFTP car for $89k I’d say wait til next summer and enjoy the Cobra this year. I’ve owned both and both a special.

I’d also so I’m very partial. I’ve never owned a S550 GT500. I’ve owned many cobras. I say add the GT500.
