Traction is a ISSUE

Ok my issue is Traction.
I have a FRC with 10.5 stock ZO6 wheels. Rims are 18x10.5
What I want is a great Drag Radial Tire that will Hook and give me atleast 4,000 miles of use. I will be runnin the tires for the street not the Strip, I have ET Streets for that. I have been considering the BFG DR but hear they are over rated and dont last long at all street driving. I also see alot of people run the NITTO555, I hear good and bad. Input on tire and Pics of tire on 10.5 rim would be great.:-D I would like some feedback on any other DR's.

If you want a drag radial that will last, definitely go with the Nitto 555R. This is the longest lasting drag radial that I'm aware of and when heated up properly, sticks very well. The average user will get about 6-8K miles. You may also want to consider heat cycling the tires. Heat cycling will help add life and performance. here's a couple links with more info.
